Upcoming Conference:

Violence, Victimization & Trauma Workshop:The Complexity of Trauma Responses

April 24th and April 25th from 8:30PM to 4:00PM at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.

Dr. Lori Haskett, author of “First stage trauma treatment: A guide for mental health professionals working with women” will facilitate a 2 day workshop for service providers and victims.

• The workshop will offer a conceptual framework for the delivery of effective interventions with abuse survivors.
• Specific techniques and approaches will be taught that will assist in addressing affect regulation, chronic intrusion and hyper arousal, trauma related schemata attachment difficulties and re-enactments.
